KLA Inc was incorporated in 2006 as a Distributor/Representative Agency focused on selling Electrical and Automation equipment to Distributors, Contractors, Commercial and Industrial facilities, OEM’s, Utilities and Municipal customers. Over the past 14 years KLA has evolved from a manufacturer’s agency into a niche Industrial and Commercial product distributor catering to Industrial and Commercial accounts mainly in British Columbia. 

We are headquartered in Port Coquitlam B.C. in a 4300sq. ft. office complex near the Trans -Canada Highway and within a thirty-minute drive to Vancouver International Airport.

Founder and Company President: Keith Lien

Keith Lien started his career in the electrical industry at the entry level position of customer service with Canadian General Electric in 1973. During his 17 years with GE and Gescan Keith attended many technical and business courses.  Keith holds numerous diplomas and certifications in Business and Marketing Management as well as Lighting, Electrical and Automation Controls. In addition Keith holds Sales Training and Management Training, Instructor Certifications from Delaine Consulting and Learning International. Further relevant experience includes ten years in senior management positions with Westburne Electric-Rexel Group, a past member of several Rockwell Automation advisory boards in the USA. Keith spent five years as head of business development at Hinz Automation, this position provided Keith with an opportunity to experience the engineering side of the electrical and automation business before starting the KLA Company in 2006.

2020 marks our full transformation from Agency to Distributor a move driven by our customer base that values our expertise and service level. As customers continue to streamline the cost of doing business they were looking to KLA to provide added value such as product fulfilment in addition to application assistance and product specification.
